The Comprehensive Edit is an extremely collaborative and comprehensive approach to the revision process, where you and I will work hand in hand to really bring your manuscript to its highest potential. This package does not include a second pass. I will not edit the manuscript further than a thorough proofread, but I will, however, never ignore any major questions that arise, as that isn’t fair to you or your audience. Should you choose to hire me to edit/address any issues that arise during a proofread, the proofreading fee will be knocked off the price of the editing option you choose. I will read the manuscript for typos or inconsistencies, as well as provide feedback on any major plot holes or issues. This will just result in me sending your manuscript back to you (minus a service fee for my time). Please do not think you can skip the editing process and jump right into proofreading. This option is available for anyone who has already worked with an editor and would like a thorough proofread. If you have not had your manuscript edited, please do that first.Īfter you have worked with an editor and your manuscript is fully edited and ready to take book shape, I will read your manuscript for any issues in the following areas: grammar, punctuation, spelling and consistency (these are things that even the most thorough editor might miss once they’ve worked so carefully with a manuscript).
